Statute of Limitations Tracker
The deadline, the days remaining, and a reminder ladder.
What it does
Calendar errors are the leading cause of malpractice claims, and the statute of limitations is the deadline that ends careers. This tracker computes the limitations deadline from matter type, incident date and state, then builds the reminder ladder a careful docketing clerk would: alerts at 180, 90, 30 and 7 days out.
Periods are config-driven with per-state entries where confirmed; where a state has not been individually verified, the tool says so and applies a generic period with a flag telling you to verify.

- A status band: on track, warning, urgent, or expired
- A summary document for the file

- 01

- 02
