What it does
Every free PDF site has the same disqualifying flaw for legal work: you have to upload the document, and you cannot safely upload anything confidential, privileged, or under a protective order. So firms pay for Acrobat Pro to do Bates stamping, or associates do it by hand.
This tool runs entirely inside your browser. The page loads once, then makes zero network requests while you work: open your browser developer tools, watch the Network tab, and stamp a batch. It even works with the internet disconnected, and the source code is public on GitHub for your IT people to read.
What it does
- Bates stamping: continuous numbering across a whole batch, position and prefix control, plus a CSV index for your production log
- Exhibit stamps: a bordered sticker on the first page, auto-incrementing across files
- Metadata scrubbing: strips author, title, keywords and the XMP packet, and shows you exactly what it found
- Merge and split: combine files in order, or extract page ranges
How it works
